Abstract
This section specifies the special requirements for the personal and device safety of electric heating devices in explosive atmospheres. This section applies to electric heating devices in explosive atmospheres, such as drying and curing ovens used for drying and curing workpieces after they have been immersed in or sprayed with flammable and explosive solutions, and other similar products. This section does not apply to electric heating devices used in protective atmospheres or controlled atmospheres.
