GB/T 11024.4-2019 Shunt capacitors for a.c.power systems having a rated voltage above 1 000 V—Part 4:Internal fuses
Abstract
This part of GB/T 11024 specifies the requirements for the testing of power capacitors and provides guidelines for fuse protection. This part is applicable to the disconnection of the internal fuse (referred to as the fuse) of a faulty capacitor component, allowing the remaining part of the capacitor unit and the capacitor bank connected to the capacitor unit to continue operating. Such fuses are not intended to replace switching devices such as circuit breakers or to provide external protection for capacitor banks or any of their components.
