This standard specifies the basic requirements for emergency deployment lists and emergency deployment cards for marine transport ships, the division of responsibilities and technical actions of all personnel on board during the abandon ship and lifeboat rescue and fire fighting of cargo ships and passenger ships, as well as the requirements for the provision and filling out of emergency deployment lists and emergency deployment cards on board ships.
This standard applies to cargo ships with a gross tonnage of 500 tons and above and passenger ships with a capacity of 12 passengers or more that engage in commercial transport on the sea. Other ships, such as engineering ships, scientific survey ships, marine survey ships, fishing boats, and cargo ships with a gross tonnage of less than 500 tons and passenger ships with a capacity of less than 12 passengers, may refer to and use this standard for reference.
