GB 5009.44-2016 National Food Safety Standard Determination of Chloride in Foods
Abstract
This standard specifies the determination methods of chloride content in food by potentiometric titration, Volhard's method (indirect precipitation titration), and silverometry (molecular method or direct titration).
The potentiometric titration method in this standard is applicable to the determination of chloride in all types of food.
The Volhard's method (indirect precipitation titration) and silverometry (molecular method or direct titration) in this standard are not suitable for the determination of chloride in dark-colored foods.
