Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and quality certificates for deformed magnesium and magnesium alloy round cast ingots, as well as the content of purchase orders (or contracts).
This standard applies to magnesium and magnesium alloy cast ingots with a circular cross-section, which are used as blanks for extrusion, forging, and other deformation processes (hereinafter referred to as "cast ingots").
