Abstract
This part of GB/T 33009 specifies the safety capabilities, protection technical requirements, and the division of safety protection areas that distributed control systems should possess during operation and maintenance. It also sets forth specific requirements for the protection points, protective equipment, and protection technologies of the process monitoring layer, the field control layer, and the field device layer. This part is applicable to various key infrastructure fields involving the safety protection of distributed control systems, such as power, petroleum, chemical industry, water conservancy, metallurgy, and building materials. It guides enterprise users to improve the safety of in-service and newly added distributed control systems, and can also serve as a system safety design guide for distributed control system manufacturers and integrators.
