GB/T 8168-2008 Testing method of static compression for packaging cushioning materials
Abstract
This standard specifies the test principles, test equipment, test samples, test procedures, and test reports for the static compression test of packaging cushioning materials. This standard is applicable to evaluating the cushioning performance of cushioning materials under static load and their ability to protect the products contained during the flow process. The shapes of cushioning materials applicable to this standard can include blocks, sheets, filaments, granules, and molded parts, such as EPS and EPE soft and hard cushioning materials. It is not applicable to corrugated cardboard, EPE film, metal springs, and shock-absorbing rubber.
