Abstract
This part of GB/Z 25320 specifies how to provide confidentiality, tamper detection, and message-level authentication for SCADA and telecontrol protocols that use TCP/IP as the message transmission layer.
Although there are many possible solutions for securing TCP/IP, the specific scope of this part is to provide security between communication entities at either end of a TCP/IP connection. The use and specification of external security devices (such as "link-end encryption boxes") inserted between them are not within the scope of this part.
