GB/T 1040.2-2022 Plastics—Determination of tensile properties—Part 2:Test conditions for moulding and extrusion plastics
Abstract
This document specifies the test conditions for determining the tensile properties of molded and extruded materials on the basis of GB/T 1040.1.
This document is applicable to the following materials:
——Rigid and semi-rigid thermoplastic molded, extruded, and cast materials, including filled and reinforced composites, reinforced and filled materials such as short fibers, fine rods, small flakes, and fine granules, excluding textile fiber-reinforced composites (see GB/T 1040.4 and GB/T 1040.5). The definitions of "rigid plastics" and "semi-rigid plastics" are given in Chapter 3 of GB/T 1040.1-2018;
——Rigid and semi-rigid thermoset molded and cast materials, including filled and reinforced composites, except for textile fiber-reinforced materials (see GB/T 1040.4 and GB/T 1040.5);
——Thermally induced liquid crystal polymers.
This document is not applicable to rigid microporous materials or materials with microporous material sandwich structures, see GB/T 9641.
This document is not applicable to flexible films and sheets with a thickness of less than 1 mm, see GB/T 1040.3.
The samples used in this document can be molded into specified sizes, or can be made from injection-molded and compression-molded boards through machining, cutting, or stamping. It is preferable to use multi-purpose samples (see GB/T 37426).
