GA 79-2010 Ball valves for fire protection
Abstract
This standard specifies the classification, models, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, and storage of fire-fighting ball valves (hereinafter referred to as ball valves).
This standard applies to ball valves used for transporting water, foam mixtures, and other liquid fire extinguishing agents, with a medium temperature ranging from -40 °C to 70 °C.
This standard does not apply to ball valves used for transporting gas fire extinguishing agents and dry powder fire extinguishing agents.
