GB/T 1222-2016

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, order content, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates for hot-rolled, forged, and cold-drawn spring steel. This standard applies to spring steel round and square bars with a nominal diameter or edge length not exceeding 120 mm (hereinafter referred to as rods), spring steel flat bars with a nominal width not exceeding 160 mm and a nominal thickness not exceeding 60 mm, and spring steel wire with a nominal diameter not exceeding 40 mm. The grades and chemical compositions specified in this standard also apply to steel ingots, steel billets, and their products.
