Abstract
This standard specifies the classification, designation, dimensions, shape, weight, and allowable deviations of steel for railway locomotives and vehicles' axles, as well as technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates.
This standard applies to the manufacture of high-quality carbon structural steel and alloy structural steel square bars and round bars (hereinafter referred to as axle steel billets) for railway locomotives and vehicles' axles.
