Abstract
This document defines the terms and definitions of stainless steel wire ropes, provides their classification and marking, specifies the content of orders, manufacturing processes, technical requirements, inspections, packaging, markings, quality certificates, storage, transportation, and acceptance deadlines, as well as arbitration, safety, use, and maintenance.
This document applies to stainless steel wire ropes (hereinafter referred to as "wire ropes") used in various instruments and mechanical transmissions, cables, slings, shock absorbers, overhead contact lines, home appliances, diamond wires, yachts, buildings, and structures.
