Abstract
GB/T 2951 specifies the test methods for polymer insulation and sheathing materials of power distribution and communication cables and optical cables, including those used on ships and offshore platforms. This part of GB/T 2951 prescribes the test methods for thermal aging. These methods are applicable to the most common types of insulation and sheathing materials (elastomers, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polypropylene, etc.).
