This document describes the methods of measuring sound pressure and sound intensity, and uses these methods to determine the sound power levels of transformers, reactors, and the cooling equipment installed on them. Note: In this document, the term "transformer" refers to "transformers and reactors". These methods are applicable to transformers and reactors that comply with GB/T 1094.1, GB/T 1094.6, and GB/T 18494 (all parts), as well as the cooling equipment installed on them (whether they are directly installed on the transformers or placed separately). This document is applicable to noise measurements conducted in factories. For on-site measurements, the measurement conditions at the site differ greatly from those in factories due to the influence of nearby objects (including other transformers). However, when it is necessary to conduct noise measurements on-site, the general rules given in this document can still be followed.
