This document specifies the general principles and requirements for the design and use of machine safety labels firmly attached to earthmoving machinery, outlines the purpose of the labels, stipulates their basic form and color, and provides guidelines for the development of the various components of the safety labels.
This document is applicable to earthmoving machinery as defined in ISO 6165.
