This document specifies the test methods for reinforcing steel used in reinforced concrete, including tensile testing, bending testing, reverse bending testing, axial fatigue testing, chemical analysis, geometric dimension measurement, determination of relative rib area, determination of weight deviation, and cyclic inelastic load testing.
This document is applicable to reinforcing steel used in reinforced concrete.
This document is not applicable to pre-stressed steel.
