YY/T 0809.6-2010 Implants for surgery—Partial and total hip joint prostheses—Part 6:Determination of endurance properties of head and neck region of stemmed femoral components
Abstract
This part of YY/T 0809 specifies the test method for determining the fatigue performance of the head and neck of stemmed femoral components in partial and total hip replacements under specific test conditions. This part is applicable to modular and non-modular designs made of metal or non-metallic materials.
This part also specifies the test conditions, takes into account important parameters that affect the test components, and describes the installation method of the test samples.
This part does not address the inspection and reporting methods of the test samples; these will be determined by the test laboratory and the party submitting the samples for testing through consultation.
