Abstract
This standard specifies the test methods for determining asbestos in coatings using X-ray diffractometers, polarizing microscopes, and scanning electron microscope spectrometers.
This standard is applicable to the determination of asbestos in various coatings, as well as in raw materials used for coatings. The determination of asbestos in products such as ship materials, building materials, friction materials, sealing materials, insulation materials, and non-metallic minerals can also refer to this standard.
