GB/T 20173-2013 Petroleum and natural gas industries—Pipeline transportation systems—Pipeline valves
Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements for the design, manufacture, testing, and documentation of ball valves, check valves, gate valves, and plug valves used in pipeline systems in the oil and gas industry.
This standard applies to ball valves, check valves, gate valves, and plug valves used in pipeline systems in the oil and gas industry that meet the requirements of GB/T 24259 "Pipeline Transportation Systems in the Oil and Gas Industry".
This standard does not apply to subsea pipeline valves. This standard does not apply to valves with a rated pressure value exceeding PN 420 (Class 2500).
The ordering guide provided in Appendix A helps buyers determine the type of valves and identify the special requirements for valves.
