Abstract
This part of GB/T 1251 specifies the physical principles, ergonomic requirements, and corresponding testing methods for the design of emergency signals in signal reception areas of public places and work areas, and provides guidelines for signal design. This part can also be used in other appropriate environments. It is important to note the differences and connections between emergency auditory signals, emergency evacuation auditory signals, and warning auditory signals. The corresponding description of emergency evacuation signals is provided in GB/T 12800.
