GB/T 33488.3-2017 Test method of pressure equipments of thermoplastics welded for chemicals—Part 3:Radiographic examination
Abstract
This part of GB/T 33488 specifies the general requirements, technical grading, preparation for inspection, implementation of radiographic testing, and inspection reports for the radiographic testing of pressure-bearing equipment welded from plastics used in the chemical industry. This part is applicable to the radiographic testing of pressure vessels and welded joints of pressure pipelines made from thermoplastic plastic pipes or plates such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) plastics, and modified polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), which are welded using hot air welding, extrusion welding, electric fusion welding, and thermal fusion welding processes.
