Abstract
This standard specifies the generation of random numbers and the method of using random numbers for random sampling. This standard is applicable to the extraction of random samples for quality sampling inspections of discrete individual products, and can also be used for the extraction of random samples in survey sampling. This standard is not applicable to the extraction of samples for quality sampling inspections of bulk products.
