Abstract
This document describes a method for determining the amount of bound styrene in styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR).
This document is suitable for determining the amount of bound styrene in emulsion-polymerized SBR. If thin films suitable for refractive index measurement can be produced, it is also suitable for extracted oil-filled emulsion-polymerized SBR.
This document is not suitable for solution-polymerized SBR.
