GB/T 712-2022 Structural steel for ship and ocean engineering
Abstract
This document specifies the classification and grades of structural steel for ships and marine engineering, order contents, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates.
This document is applicable to the manufacture of ship hull structures for ocean-going, coastal, and inland navigation vessels, fishing boats, etc., using steel plates with a thickness of not more than 150 mm, and marine engineering structures using steel plates with a thickness of not more than 250 mm, steel strips and sheared plates with a thickness of not more than 25.4 mm, and steel sections with a thickness of not more than 50 mm or rods with a diameter of not more than 50 mm (hereinafter referred to as "steel materials").
