Abstract
This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of marine ordinary rectangular windows (referred to as rectangular windows).
This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of rectangular windows used in deckhouses, superstructures, and related compartments above the freeboard deck of marine vessels. The design, manufacture, and acceptance of rectangular windows on inland vessels can also be used for reference.
