Abstract
This part of GB/T 2878 specifies the dimensions, performance requirements, and test procedures for metric adjustable and non-adjustable lightweight stud ends (L series) and O-rings. The maximum working pressure applicable to non-adjustable stud ends that comply with this part is 40 MPa, and the maximum working pressure applicable to adjustable stud ends is 31.5 MPa. The permissible working pressure should be determined based on factors such as the stud end's dimensions, material, structure, operating conditions, and application scenarios. Products that only meet the dimensional requirements of this part cannot guarantee that they will achieve the specified performance. Manufacturers are advised to conduct tests in accordance with the specifications contained in this part to ensure that the components meet the specified performance requirements.
