Abstract
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, storage and transportation, marking, and quality certificates for manganese-silicon alloys. This standard applies to manganese-silicon alloys used as alloying agents, composite deoxidizers, and desulfurizers in steelmaking, as well as reducing agents for smelting low- and medium-carbon manganese-iron alloys.
