GB 16796-2022 Security alarm equipment—Safety requirements and test methods
Abstract
This document establishes the design principles for the safety protection of security alarm equipment, stipulates the requirements for preventing electric shocks, mechanical injuries, thermal burns, fire hazards, radiation exposure, and indicative requirements for safety protection, as well as requirements for marking and user manuals. It also describes the test methods for each corresponding requirement. This document is applicable to the design, manufacture, inspection, and application of various types of equipment in security systems. Note: The various types of equipment include, but are not limited to, those used in intrusion and emergency alarm systems, video surveillance, access control, parking lot (garage) safety management, explosion-proof safety inspections, electronic patrols, building intercom systems, physical protection, and human biometric identification systems.
