This document is applicable to the automatic control system for burners that use fuel oil, natural gas, coal, or other fuels. The system is used in the following situations:
—— Household and similar applications;
—— Stores, offices, hospitals, farms, and commercial and industrial applications.
This document can be applied to:
—— A complete burner control system;
—— Separate program control devices;
—— Separate electronic high-voltage ignition sources;
—— Separate flame detectors;
—— Separate high-temperature operation (HTO) detectors;
—— Burner control systems for warm air heating equipment (furnaces), which are equipped with electromechanical pressure differential controllers to monitor the combustion air pressure differential (Type 2.AL). The pressure differential controller provides a switch as an alternative to one of the two switching elements, directly cutting off the power supply to the safety-related terminals.
