Abstract
This standard specifies the technical requirements and measurement methods for handheld phones using three assistive coupling methods, including auxiliary amplification, magnetic field coupling, and electrical coupling.
This standard applies to handheld phones that use assistive coupling technology. Additionally, the electrical coupling of hearing aids for cordless phones and mobile phones, as well as the magnetic field coupling of hearing aids for fixed-line phones when using a headset, can also be referenced for use.
