This standard specifies the basic safety requirements for the design, manufacture, installation, use, maintenance, scrapping, and inspection of bridge erectors.
This standard applies to highway bridge erectors and railway bridge erectors. It does not include flatcars used for bridge erectors operating on railway lines.
