Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of coconut shell fiber boards.
This standard applies to porous boards made from coconut shell fiber as the skeleton material, which is combed into filamentary form and then interwoven by needle punching, paved, sprayed with adhesive, and heat-pressed.
This standard does not apply to products made with aldehyde adhesives.
