Abstract
This standard specifies the product classification and naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, user's manual, packaging, transportation, and storage of medical suture needles (hereinafter referred to as suture needles). This standard applies to medical round, triangular, ordinary-holed, and spring-loaded-holed suture needles. These products are intended for suturing internal organs, soft and hard tissues, skin, and other applications.
