YY 0570-2005 Medical electrical equipment—Part 2-46:Particular requirements for the safety of operating tables
Abstract
Addition: This dedicated standard specifies the safety requirements for operating tables as defined in 2.12.101. Regardless of whether such operating tables have electrical components, including the drive mechanisms defined in 2.12.104, which are used to move the tabletop of operating tables with detachable tabletops relative to the base (or pedestal) of the operating table. This dedicated standard does not apply to: — Patient dental chairs; — Examination chairs and sofas; — Patient support systems for diagnostic and treatment equipment; — Operating table heating blankets; — Patient transfer equipment; — Conveyor tables and beds; — Hospital beds; — Field operating tables.
