Abstract
This standard specifies the representation of Shore hardness and Leeb hardness of rolling mill rolls, the testing methods, and the requirements for testing instruments, the rolling mill rolls to be tested, data processing, test reports, and hardness conversion tables. This standard is applicable to the determination of Shore hardness and Leeb hardness of various types of forged steel, cast steel, and cast iron rolling mill rolls.
