GB/T 30925-2014 Plastics—Ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer(EVAC)thermoplastics—Determination of vinyl acetate content
Abstract
This standard specifies the test method for determining the vinyl acetate content in ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVAC).
The test methods specified in this standard include a reference method and a test method. The reference method is used for calibrating the test method for determining the vinyl acetate content in ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer.
After the test method specified in this standard is calibrated using the reference method, and if the repeatability of the test results is acceptable, the test method can be used to determine the vinyl acetate content.
The infrared spectroscopy method specified in this standard is suitable for EVAC samples with a vinyl acetate content of not less than 3%.
Note: The abbreviation EVAC for ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer is also often used as EVA.
