GB/T 3420-2008 Gray iron castigs for pipe fittings
Abstract
This standard specifies the classification, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and quality certificates of cast iron pipe fittings, as well as their transportation and storage.
This standard applies to gray cast iron pipe fittings with socket and flange connections and flexible mechanical interface cast iron pipe fittings used for water and gas transmission. The use of cast iron pipe fittings should refer to the relevant technical requirements for pipeline design and construction specifications.
The pressure rings, bolts, hexagonal nuts, rubber rings, and support rings used in flexible mechanical interface cast iron pipe fittings shall comply with the provisions of Appendix A, Appendix B, and Appendix C in GB/T 6483—2008.
