Abstract
This document specifies the basic safety technical requirements for the market release and free circulation of gas combustion appliances (hereinafter referred to as "combustion appliances") and their accessories. This document applies to household and commercial combustion appliances and accessories that use urban gas as fuel. This document does not apply to combustion appliances used on vehicles, ships, and other means of transportation, as well as combustion appliances designed for specific purposes or applications, such as industrial production processes or laboratory research.
