This standard specifies the terminology definitions, principles, instruments, samples, test procedures, result calculations, and test reports for the hydrophobicity test method of insulation materials.
This standard applies to insulation materials and products such as mineral wool, perlite, calcium silicate, and silicate. Other insulation materials with hydrophobicity requirements can also refer to and adopt this standard.
