GB/T 38595-2020 Safety and control devices for gas burners and gas-burning appliances—Particular requirements—Mechanical thermostats
Abstract
This standard specifies the classification, structure, and materials of mechanical temperature control devices (hereinafter referred to as "thermostats") for gas burners and combustion appliances used with urban gas as stipulated in GB/T 13611, as well as their requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and user manuals, packaging, transportation, and storage.
This standard applies to thermostats installed in gas stoves, instantaneous water heaters, storage water heaters, hot plate stoves, frying stoves, heaters, and ovens, etc., which are used to control gas flow in gas appliances with a maximum inlet pressure not exceeding 10 kPa.
