Abstract
This part is a basic standard, applicable to electrical equipment containing an insulation system but not considering the voltage level. Such equipment:
——is connected to an electronic drive power supply, and
——needs to undergo insulation aging assessment under repeated voltage pulse conditions.
This part proposes a general test procedure for screening electrical insulation systems (EIS) and conducting relevant assessments of insulation aging under repeated pulse conditions.
