GB/T 4156-2020 Metallic materials—Sheet and strip—Erichsen cupping test
Abstract
This standard specifies the method of measuring the plastic deformation capacity of metal sheets and thin strips during drawing forming using the Erickson Cup Impact Test.
This standard is applicable to the measurement of metal sheets and thin strips with a thickness of 0.1 mm to 2.0 mm and a width of not less than 90 mm. For thicker sheets and thin strips or those where only narrow samples can be obtained, it is necessary to use molds of specified sizes, and to indicate the results using subscripts, as shown in Table 1.
