JJG 74-2005 Recorders for Industrial-Process Measurement
Abstract
This procedure applies to the initial verification, subsequent verification, and in-use inspection of industrial process measurement recorders that use thermocouples or thermoresistors to measure temperature, and DC voltage, current, and resistance as analog electrical signal inputs to reflect other physical and chemical quantities in industrial processes.
Industrial process measurement recorders (hereinafter referred to as instruments) include automatic potentiometers, automatic balance bridges, function recorders, and hybrid recorders that combine digital and analog indicators, as well as paperless recorders.
