This section stipulates the general requirements for the materials, design, construction, and installation of metal components of liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage tanks.
This section applies to the design and construction of vertically-mounted, cylindrical, flat-bottomed, steel LNG storage tanks assembled on-site, with an operating temperature ranging between 0 °C and -165 °C.
