GB/T 5223-2025 Steel wire for prestressing of concrete
Abstract
This document specifies the classification, designation and marking, order content, manufacturing process, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, quality certificates, and transportation and storage of steel wires for prestressed concrete. This document applies to cold-drawn steel wires and low-relaxation smooth round, spiral rib, and scored steel wires used in prestressed concrete. Among these, cold-drawn steel wires are only used in pressure pipes. According to the design and construction methods, it is suitable to use the prestressed concrete structures with high efficiency made by the pre-tensioning method and the post-tensioning method. For other applications of stress-relieved steel wires, this document can be referenced.
