This part of GB 17498 stipulates the additional safety requirements specifically for treadmills, in addition to the general safety requirements of GB 17498.1. This part should be used in conjunction with GB 17498.1.
This part applies to power-driven and manually-driven treadmill-type fitness equipment (hereinafter referred to as treadmills).
