GB/T 11983-2008 Surface active agents—Determination of wetting power—Immersion method
Abstract
This standard specifies a method for determining the wetting force of surfactant solutions using a method of immersing a disc of raw cotton cloth.
This standard is applicable to all surfactants (regardless of their ionic properties) used as textile wetting agents in neutral, weakly acidic, or weakly alkaline baths.
This standard is not applicable to mercerizing aids (strongly alkaline baths) or carbonizing aids (strongly acidic baths).
