This standard specifies the description and explanation of food nutritional information and characteristics on the nutrition labels of prepackaged foods.
This standard applies to the nutrition labels of prepackaged foods directly provided to consumers.
For prepackaged foods and food storage and transportation packaging that are not directly provided to consumers, the display of nutrition labels should be implemented in accordance with this standard.
