Abstract
This document provides ergonomic principles, recommendations, and requirements for the design of control center workstations. The focus of this document is on the layout and dimensions of control workstations.
This document is primarily applicable to seated visual display workstations, as well as standing control center workstations. These different types of control workstations are commonly found in applications such as transportation control centers, processing control centers, and security facility systems. Nowadays, most of these workstations integrate flat-panel displays for information presentation.
